Mary​ ​Ruth​ ​Matthews​ ​is​ ​a​ ​Texas​ ​Tech​ ​alumna​ ​who​ ​earned​ ​her​ ​bachelor’s​ ​degree​ ​in Public​ ​Relations​ ​from​ ​the​ ​College​ ​of​ ​Media​ ​&​ ​Communications​ ​in​ ​December​ ​of​ ​2015.​ ​Out of​ ​college,​ ​she​ ​accepted​ ​a​ ​position​ ​with​ ​Primitive​ ​Social​ ​as​ ​Social​ ​Media​ ​Manager​ ​for clients​ ​like​ ​J&B​ ​Coffee,​ ​HG​ ​Thrash​ ​and​ ​McPherson​ ​Cellars.​ ​ In​ ​the​ ​summer​ ​of​ ​2017,​ ​Mary Ruth​ ​joined​ ​the​ ​RD​ ​Thomas​ ​Advertising​ ​team​ ​as​ ​Social​ ​Media/Public​ ​Relations​ ​Planner. There she oversaw ​organic​ ​and​ ​paid​ ​social​ ​media​ ​strategy​ ​for​ ​clients​ ​like​ ​Anderson Bros. Jewelers​,​ ​Kingsgate​ ​Center​ ​and​ ​The​ ​United​ ​Family. In June of 2018, Mary Ruth accepted the position of Marketing Director at Ventura Homes by Jeff Seal where she is currently working to build/refine all aspects of the Ventura Homes brand.
