Think starting one photography business is tough? Try owning multiple businesses in various arenas. As any serial entrepreneur will tell you, it’s not actually that crazy to start and manage multiple businesses and personal endeavors. After all, it improves your odds for financial security, demands you to use all your skills and keeps your mind sharp. But how can you divide your time among all your businesses and hobbies while maintaining a healthy work-life balance? Here’s how to achieve this seemingly impossible task.


Traveling the world in the military sparked my interest as a photographer. I started to notice the little details, how you can tell a story; convey joy, grief, happiness or pain all with a single image. Upon returning home to Amarillo after my time in the military my passion for photography only grew and that passion lead a hobby to grow into a business. I would like to think that my photographs allow moments in time to be relieved infinitely. Family portraiture has become a favorite for the Double 8 Photography Team. My love is proudly capturing the family unit, whatever that may look like for you. While I love family photography, as is my nature, our business has grown and evolved to employee others and expanded to many other genres of photographic needs.

West Texas Photographers is an association made up of professional, enthusiast and student photographers from the Lubbock, Amarillo, Midland, Abilene areas of Texas and Eastern New Mexico.
